Innovation Matters!
Adam Hartung
Adam Hartung
Author of Create Marketplace Disruption: How to Stay Ahead of the Competition headlines the Innovation Track at Manufacturing Matters!

Hartung's approach to business growth is counterintuitive, provocative - and effective. In fact, he says, "If you apply my methods, I can guarantee you success." He backs that bold claim up with a track record of results from 20 years of practical experience in developing and implementing strategies to take advantage of emerging technologies and new business models. See him at Manufacturing Matters! on May 9th at the Frontier Airlines Center in Milwaukee.

Got a question for a State Agency?  WEDC can help.
WEDC logo In the past two years, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation has worked to build a responsive, creative organization focused on business growth in Wisconsin. The creation of WEDC to replace the Department of Commerce underscores the fundamental change in philosophy toward truly promoting and facilitating growth - notably in the state's manufacturing sector.

As a sponsor of Manufacturing Matters!, the WEDC is demonstrating its commitment to manufacturers; in addition, it is coordinating a session to help update manufacturers entitled " State Agency Business Assistance & Regulatory Update" featuring Secretary Cathy Stepp of the DNR, Secretary Dave Ross of DSPS, David Volz of the WEDC and Steve Krieser of DOT. In addition, agency officials will be available all day at the "State Government Listening Post"

Agencies represented include the WEDC as well as the following departments:

* Transportation (DOT)

* Natural Resources (DNR)

* Safety and Professional Services (DSPS)

* Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP)

* Workforce Development (DWD)

* Veterans Affairs (DVA)

 The Listening Post is located in the Exhibit Hall and open all day. If you have questions for state agencies, bring them to the conference!
